Global Virtual Classroom has been a wonderful experience for me. I got to collaborate with children all over the world. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the children and their lifestyles in other countries. Since our topic was food, I felt that it was a really nice way to know more about their cooking styles and their thoughts about food. We got to make posters and write articles which enlightened us with knowledge beyond our curriculum. I got to know the importance of food and how we can minimise its wastage . I realized that food is not just food, it is a vast culture, a heritage and a legacy. Talking about food is something that always brings us together as one big family.

Being a part GVC for two continuous years was an adventure in itself. From being a person who was scared to talk to elders of my own school , I have transformed into a person who is now not only coordinating and working with the teachers but with my younger colleagues too. GVC has opened mind to things I wouldn't have done otherwise like writing poems, articles, etc. Meeting foreign students was also great. I wish to be a part of GVC for all the coming years as it makes learning fun as well as interesting.

In these tough times, amidst the pandemic, we all couldn't go to school. But we learnt a lot through Edmodo. It was amazing! Everyone was nice and kind. We all shared our thoughts on different topics, which was also wonderful. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a fun experience working for the Food Carnival too.

GVC gave me a golden opportunity for improving the vocabulary and writing skills . Also, I learnt a lot about food, fad diet , healthy food, etc. On researching, I came to know many unknown facts about food and hence, it enhanced my knowledge too. I am very glad that I was a part of GVC. I got to learn new things and also got an opportunity to meet children across the globe. Working on a platform like Edmodo was a new experience for me. GVC is a great platform where we can connect with our friends across the globe and discuss and share our opinions and views on several topics. This year’s topic was food. I got to know a lot about everything related to food in detail. This year, I made a lot of posters and wrote articles, which I think was helpful in increasing my creativity and writing skills. I had a memorable and wonderful learning experience. Even the meeting with the nutritionist was quite helpful.

We took part in many activities like making digital posters, presentations, food carnival etc. I learnt about to prevent food wastage, avoid food pollution etc. We also had a virtual conversation with a famous nutritionist - Ms. Poonam Duneja.. I was also a part of the Food Carnival and enjoyed it thoroughly. Overall, it was an amazing experience.

This event has given me a different, brighter outlook towards culture and distance that I have realised are simply barriers which the Internet has allowed us to cross. In the process, I made new friends and discovered both differences and similarities between us. Further, I have learnt to collaborate and work in a team. The program allowed me to develop my skills as well as gain knowledge about our topic, food. In a nutshell, creating this website was an extraordinary and valuable journey.

Working on GVC for the third time was very amazing. It was fun sharing and discovering each other. The video conference with people from USA and Russia was a great experience. It was a different experience this year because of pandemic. As this year comes to an end, my quest to learn more has increased.

GVC is a great platform and gives an amazing exposure not only to the students but to the teachers as well and this year was no different. Though it was a little challenging as we couldn't meet the students in person but it didn't hamper our enthusiasm. We had a lot of interesting activities to celebrate this collaboration. The Zoom meetings, meeting the nutritionist , preparing the Christmas decorations and the food carnival ;all went of very well. We learnt quite a lot about the cuisines of the USA and Russia, balanced diet etc. which was enriching.

I want to share my feelings and impressions about our international project. I took part in all meetings and it was really interesting and useful!
