The Phoenix School is located in Salem Massachusetts. Our school has 19 kids in it. Yes you heard me right, 19 kids in the whole school! We have five teachers, one baby, and three dogs that walk around the school. Our school dogs are always ready for a few pats on the head! The six through eighth graders are working on the Global Virtual Classroom (GVC) project with one team from India! Every year our school hosts what we call a Readathon sleepover! All the kids in the school get to sleep over if they choose. Since we were sleeping over we got the privilege to talk with the kids from India in real time using Zoom! This was amazing because it’s virtually impossible to talk people across the world during school hours because of the time difference, but we still did! We are all so excited to work on this project because it gives us a chance to spread the message of cyber wellness around the world!
