The Gator Way
It is very important that we follow The Gator Way to ensure that we have are working to create a safe learning environment that is conducive to learning. I know that we are going to have a wonderful first quarter, especially if we are able to meet these expectations. Just remember, that every decision has an outcome whether it be positive or negative. This is where our Rewards and Consequences come in!
Rewards
Verbal Praise - I will give you a personal shout-out or even a virtual high five
Positive Contact Home - I will call or email your parent/guardian to let them know about the awesomeness that occurred
HW Half-Pass - You will get a homework pass that allows you to do half of the problems assigned
*You need to get teacher approval on the assignment you are using it on; it can not be used on assessments
Consequences
Removal from Zoom - If you are not following our classroom expectations, you will be asked to leave Zoom and return when you are ready to learn
Contact Parent/Guardian - I will call or email home if we continue to have problems to see what we can do to work together and ensure your success
Referral - If you consistently do not follow classroom expectations, I will unfortunately have to get our principal involved
