2025.06.29 The King of Instruments_ The Pipe Organ
Today, thanks to the chairman of the Taiwan Children's Pipe Organ Education Promotion Association to promote and introduce the instrument- pipe organ to students. Students also sing the songs with the pipe organ together.

2025.05.7 English Singing Contest
Class 503 represent Gushan to participate in the English Singing Competition of the 113 semester. Everyone works hard on practicing the dance and singing the song. They all did a great job. Thanks for all the teachers who help with the competition!
2025.05.7 ~ 05.09 Graduation Trip
Today, the six grader students start their Graduation Trip.
By the Graduation Trip, students can learn teamwork and cooperate with others.
During the trip, students have to take care of themselves and do everything by their own and learn to be independent. Hope them can have a lot of great memories!
2025.05.6 Happy Mother's Day Talent Show
Students express their gradtitude to their faamilies through performance. We have singing, dancing and taekwondo performance. They all prepare a lot for their talent show. Let's give them big applause!

2025.04.29 Wanpi World Safari Zoo Outdoor Education
This year's outdoor education trip took students to the Wanpi World Safari Zoo in Tainan. There, they observed various animals and participated in feeding the animals. Students learned how to show care and respect for animals and have a chance to be close to nature.
2025.04.24 Weiwuying Arts Learning Program
The fifth grader students join the " Weiwuying Arts Learning Program".
They learned about theater etiquette and the performing arts. By the performance, students can get to know variety of instruments and the collaboration of different instruments.
2025.04.11 Steam in the kitchen
The kitchen is not just for cooking, it's a place full of science and creativity.
Thanks to the special program designed by the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism, students can take a Steam lesson and learn from different fields.
2025.04.10 Career Exploration
This year, the National Cishan Agricultural & Industrial Vocational Senior High School holds four different career exploration activities for our school's students.
Students learn how to make cotton candy, popcorn, egg waffles and red bean cakes.
They also learn about different professions, understanding and respecting different professions.
2025.04.02 School Fair of Children's Day in Gushan
In the past couple of weeks, teachers and students have been busy preparing for the school fair. Students are not only customers but also learn to be the owners of the stands. There are games like ring toss, a flea market, drinks and desserts. Hope it becomes a wonderful memory of your Children's Day!

This year's outdoor education, students are visiting the only Greek- themed park in Taiwan. They learn to respect cultural diversity and broadened their worldview. They also enhanced the social skills and learned teamwork.

Graduation Ceramic Tiles Making and Design
This year, we keep the tradition of making and designing the ceramic tiles.
The ceramic tiles will be inlaid into the wall and displayed along the hallways outside the Lehuo building, where graduates will walk on the day of graduation ceremony.
The sixth graders are putting in great efforts to capture all their memories of their six years of elementary school life into their artwork.
2024.1.20 English Singing Contest of Gushan Elementary School
This is the second annual English singing contest of Gushan.
The Gushan Good Voice course integrates English and music.
By combining the courses with the popular movie, students can learn about plots, classic lines and theme songs from the movie.
Homeroom teachers also spend a lot of time to guide students in rehearsals.
All of the students did a great job and are the Gushan stars!

This Christmas, we make Christmas cards with the colorful cellophane.
Students also write some Christmas Greetings with English and draw pictures on cards.

Practicing Performance for the Sports Day
Today, 550 students are practicing the performance for the upcoming Sports Day performance. This year, we have chosen the popular song "Permission to Dance" by BTS. We hope that this song will encourage students to do their best and appreciate classmates' wonderful performances.

Santa Claus is Coming to Gushan
This year, th teachers decorated the campus with the Santa Claus, a cute group of reindeer, and a Christmas tree. The image of Santa Claus climbing represents bringing "Love" and " Hope " to all the children.
2024.11.27 113th English Reader's Theater Competition: We're Going on a Treasure Hunt
This year, We adapted the storybook We're Going on a Bear Hunt , which tells the story of children going on a journey to search for the golden treasure. We incorporated the features of the the Banana Kingdom in Chishan.
We all enjoyed this experience very much. We wanted to say, “Good job!” to ourselves.

Today, the Gushan Choir joins the 113th National Music Competition!
The Students performing the joyful song "Whisper" and "Eja! Eja! " on the stage.
Both students and teachers all making an effort practicing these songs.

This year, due to the typhoon, our Halloween Activity was postponed.
The Halloween Activity that we've been waiting for is finally here!
This year, there are five different challenges.
1.Guess and Match: A fruit vocabulary learning game.
2.Beat the Monsters: Recognizing vocabulary of Halloween.
3.Go fishing: Speaking words of different colors.
4.Dear Pets: Read the words of different animals.
5.Dance with the Ghost: A singing and dancing activity of English song.
Students can learn English through the interesting games and activities.

Phonetic Symbol Challenge for First Grade
The first- grade teacher has designed the Phonetic Symbol Challenge for students, which includes four different activities. Games are an effective way to enhance students' learning motivation and interest, and teachers can also evaluate their learning through these activities.
2024.10.28 Happy Halloween! Activity Ⅰ : Trick or Treat
This year's Halloween Activity Ⅰ : Trick or Treat is designed by Miss Huang. During a 10-minute break, students learn to read the words and sing songs related to Halloween.
Through this activity, students not only learn about different cultures and festivals but gain confidence in speaking English with others.

Gushan elementary School in Cishan District was established in 1944 and located on Wenzhong Road. It was a primary school for Japanese children and the Cishan noble families. The school was relocated to Yanping 1st Road as the new campus in 2000.
It has been a long time to promote soft tennis and recently Toy Dream House is constructed and it combines block curriculum with computer programming education.
Gushan expands its abundant energy in promoting the development of physical, information and characteristics education.
