[International Scholar Visit, October 2025] We invited Dr. Atsuko Hayashi from Kobe University, Japan, to visit the Miin Wu School of Computing and our lab. We had a lovely discussion with Dr Hayashi and her student on the verbal fluency tests in older adults, Alzheimer's Disease and metal heath related topics.

[International Scholar Visit, March 2025] We invited Dr. Yaling Hsiao from the University of Reading, UK, to visit the Miin Wu School of Computing and our lab. She gave a talk on Children's learning to read at our school seminar.

[International Scholar Visit, December 2024] We invited Prof. Michael Zock from the French National Center for Scientific Research, France, to visit the Miin Wu School of Computing and our lab. We collaborated with the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, and Department of Psychology, NCKU to hold Prof. Zock’s talks.

[International Scholar Visit, October 2024] Welcome, Prof. Saturnino Luz, all the way from the University of Edinburgh, UK, to visit the Miin Wu School of Computing and our lab in Tainan, Taiwan.

Prof. Saturnino Luz visited our collaborator, Dr. Yi-Chien Liu, at Cardinal Tien Hospital in Taipei. We finally had an in-person TAUKADIAL (TAiwan and UK Alzheimer's DIALogues) project meeting after a year of online meetings.

[Google Pixel Test Engineering x NCKU Machine Learning Seminar, Mar 2024] We demonstrated the final results of the project “Developing a mobile device-based automatic AI assessment for rapid screening of language abnormalities using Chinese spontaneous speech”.

[International Challenge, January 2024] In collaboration with Prof. Saturnino Luz, Dr. Sofia de la Fuente Garcia, Dr, Fasih Haider (University of Edinburgh), Dr. Davida Fromm, Prof Brian MacWhinney (Carnegie Mellon University), and Dr. Yi-Chien Liu, Dr. Chia-Ju Chou (Cardinal Tien Hospital), we are happy to announce the INTERSPEECH'24 TAUKADIAL Challenge: Speech-Based Cognitive Assessment in Chinese and English.
