We are a research group led by Prof. Paul-Antoine Moreau working on quantum optics and quantum imaging, within the department of Physics of the National Cheng Kung University (國立成功大學, NCKU) in Tainan, Taiwan and the Quantum Frontier of Research and Technology (QFort).
We aim to harness states of the light exhibiting quantum behavior in the spatial degree of freedom with two distinct objectives :
Quantum Improved imaging scheme
Fundamental and quantum information scheme
We also have transverse classical imaging and low light projects inspired from quantum imaging concepts.
We are funded by the National Science and Technology Center and Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
We are currently recruiting !
We have paid positions for Undergrad, Master and PhD students. We are also looking for a Post-Doctoral researcher.
You would work in the field of quantum optics and quantum imaging, aiming either fundamental demonstrations (quantum information schemes) or practical practical application (improved imaging schemes with quantum light).
You would acquire knowledge and skills in the domain of quantum information and experimental quantum optics.
Projects for students can be either experimental or numerical (simulations).
To apply simply send an email to Prof. Paul-Antoine Moreau
