Course introduction:
The financial services industries are changing rapidly with the emergence of financial technology (FinTech). In this course, we will provide students with an overview of FinTech, taking a glimpse into its past and present. We will then discuss important enabling technologies, including artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, big data analytics, natural language processing. We will delve into a few representative FinTech applications. Students are expected to develop a broad understanding of the recent FinTech development and its impact on different parts of the financial world. Students will also have hands-on problem-solving experiences that can be useful in developing FinTech applications.
In this course, the subjects we will go through include but are not limited to the following:
The rise of Fintech; drivers of the fintech revolution
Types of Fintechs; Challenges faced by Fintechs
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data
Key Artificial Intelligence Opportunities for Financial Institutions
Specific Applications of AI in Subsectors of Financial Services
Blockchain and Crypto-assets
Discussion of Real Fintech Applications
Incumbent institutions and their responses to Fintechs
The emergence of Techfin
The changing structure of the Financial Ecosystem
Chatbot for Financial Applications

教授您好，
謝謝教授您在課堂上講述的觀念以及給予的提點，我們都覺得收穫很多，課堂上我們建立了專業知識，讓我們的提案產生雛形，提點的部分則是讓我們發現我們的提案存在著的弱點。
我們比賽的全名是玉山校園商業競賽，以下是我們組員的系級和名字：
1.財碩ㄧ 陳人豪
2.財碩一 李家銘
3.電機四 楊子右
4.會碩一 葉育瑄
5.會碩一 陳沛岑
以下是我們在比賽中所運用的內容：
1.在課堂上教授您講述的一些AI方面的知識，如清楚的介紹機器學習的種類、方法以及運用場域等，這些理論知識是商管學生比較薄弱的，而課堂中的介紹可以讓我們在提案方面中「可行性和落地性」有很大的幫助，而這也是不論在比賽或是業界十分看重的一個因素，在賽前培訓時我們確實有被提問到該使用何種方法，mentor也說我們是唯一一組有說明到使用何種方法的組別。
2.課堂上時常會補充額外資料，如fintech space、螞蟻金服、網銀資訊等等，這些都可以讓我們知道大環境的趨勢。
3.期中報告我們需要報告一間公司以及教授您安排的兩場演講，這些部分我們覺得都收穫很多，因為可以了解到國內外已經有落地施行的方案以及在策略制定上需要注意的面向（如需要深刻了解TA痛點以及市場真正的需求等）這些觀念在我們提案發想上都有很大的幫助，除了帶給我們創新的idea 外，也讓我們比較不會提出一項不符合市場需求或市場上已存在的提案。
