歡迎來到中港高中和英國Putney High School的國際交流！從最初的交換卡片和零食開始，我們的合作已經變成動態的夥伴關係，我們一起共備音樂和華語課程，同時將聯合國永續發展目標（SDGs）融入課程當中。

我們堅信，跨文化交流具有豐富學習經驗並擴展視野的力量。兩校的合作超越了國界，希望激勵學生們以SDGs的角度批判性思考和探索各種主題。

通過雙方的共同努力，學生踏上了一段發現之旅，參與有意義的討論和活動，鼓勵他們反思全球問題並在自己的社區中採取行動。無論是通過慶祝文化多樣性的音樂課，還是促進語言能力和理解的華語課，我們的目標都是賦予學生成為富有同情心、見識淵博的全球公民的力量。

Welcome to our international exchange with Putney High School in the United Kingdom！What began as a simple exchange of postcards and snacks has evolved into a dynamic partnership where we co-prepare music and Mandarin lessons while integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into our curriculum.

At our core, we believe in the power of cross-cultural exchange to enrich learning experiences and broaden perspectives. Our collaboration extends beyond borders as we aim to inspire young minds to think critically and explore diverse topics through the lens of the SDGs.

Through our joint efforts, students embark on a journey of discovery, engaging in meaningful discussions and activities that encourage them to reflect on global issues and take action in their communities. Whether it's through music lessons that celebrate cultural diversity or Mandarin classes that promote language proficiency and understanding, our goal is to empower students to become compassionate, informed global citizens.

音樂課與華語課的跨領域交流

在我們的課程中，學生們將有機會與來自不同國家和文化背景的同儕一起合作，共同分析英文歌曲的歌詞，深入理解其中蘊含的意義。同時，他們也會與來自英國的學生進行校際交流，分享彼此對於家庭、友情以及環境議題的看法和感受。

透過這樣的課程設計，我們不僅培養了學生的音樂和語言能力，更重要的是促進了他們之間的跨文化理解和尊重，以及對於「our community」和「our planet」的關懷和責任感。

In our course, students will have the opportunity to collaborate with peers from different countries and cultural backgrounds, analyzing English song lyrics together to delve into their meanings. Additionally, they will engage in inter-school exchanges with students from the UK, sharing their perspectives on topics such as family, friendship, and environmental issues.

Through this course design, we aim not only to enhance students' musical and language abilities but also to foster cross-cultural understanding and respect among them. Moreover, we seek to cultivate a sense of care and responsibility towards 'our community' and 'our planet'.

探索台灣與英國流行音樂之美

透過這次課程交流，台灣與英國的青少年有機會互相了解對方的音樂喜好與文化特色，從而促進了跨文化理解與友誼的建立。他們透過分享最喜愛的音樂，深入了解了彼此的文化，同時也拓展了自己的視野與見識。

Through this course exchange, teenagers from Taiwan and the UK have the opportunity to understand each other's music preferences and cultural characteristics, thereby fostering cross-cultural understanding and friendship. By sharing their favorite music, they gain deeper insights into each other's cultures while also broadening their own perspectives and knowledge.

跨越文化界限的美味交流

國際零食與明信片交換計劃！

高三音樂課程的學生與英國學伴進行零食交換，將台灣的特色零食，如科學麵、七七乳加巧克力、乖乖、牛軋糖和海線特產杏仁脆片，帶給他們，同時也收到英國學生寄來的異國美食。

透過這樣的交流，我們的學生將能夠了解到不同文化背景下的飲食習慣和美食獨特性，同時也能夠通過分享自己的文化，促進國際間的友誼和理解。

Our grade 12 students in the music class are engaging in a snack exchange with their British learning partners. They are bringing Taiwan's distinctive snacks such as Science Noodles Snack, milk chocolate, Kuai Kuai snacks, nougat, and locally produced almond crisps, while also receiving exotic delicacies from the British students.

Through this exchange, our students will gain insights into the dietary habits and culinary uniqueness of different cultural backgrounds. Simultaneously, by sharing their own culture, they aim to foster international friendship and understanding.

每次與不同國家的交流，我們都會設計獨一無二的明信片，不僅標記上彼此在世界地圖上的位置，更融合當地著名景點與美食。舉凡倫敦著名的大笨鐘、哈利波特，以及台灣的珍珠奶茶、小籠包，再到中港高中獨具特色的校園風景，無不展現獨特魅力。透過手寫的溫馨問候，我們將真摯的祝福傳遞給遠方的朋友，拉近彼此的距離，同時分享著各自文化的精彩魅力。

Postcard Exchange Project！We firmly believe that words are the most direct and warmest means of conveying emotions. With each exchange with different countries, we design unique postcards, not only marking each other's locations on the world map but also integrating local famous landmarks and cuisine. From London's famous Big Ben and Harry Potter to Taiwan's bubble tea and soup dumplings, and even Chung Gang Senior High School's unique campus scenery, each showcases its own unique charm. Through handwritten warm greetings, we extend heartfelt wishes to friends afar, bridging distances, and sharing the splendid charm of our cultures.

學生會前會長Mandy至倫敦 Putney High School 分享校園文化

在羅馬留學期間，中港學生會前會長 Mandy 特地飛抵倫敦，與 Putney High School 的學生們分享彼此的校園文化和課程，促進了兩校之間的交流與合作。Mandy 的到來引發了學生們的熱情，不僅分享了在羅馬的學校生活和義大利文化的魅力，還樂意回答學生們對於中港高中的問題，進一步豐富了他們對台灣教育體系的了解。這次跨境交流活動不僅擴大了學生們的視野，也豐富了他們的文化知識。

此次活動拉近了 Putney High School 和中港高中之間的距離，為未來更多的合作和交流奠定了良好基礎。兩校將持續努力，為學生們提供更多寶貴的跨文化體驗和學習機會。此外，Mandy 也分享了她在中港高中擔任學生會會長期間舉辦的活動和推動的事務，並向在場的學生介紹了台中市與梧棲鎮的藝文景點，希望未來能有機會邀請他們來台灣體驗更多的文化魅力。

During her study abroad in Rome, former president of the CGSH Student Council, Mandy, flew to London specifically to engage with the students of Putney High School, fostering mutual exchange of campus culture and curriculum, thus facilitating greater collaboration between the two institutions. Mandy's visit ignited enthusiasm among the students as she not only shared the allure of school life in Rome and Italian culture but also willingly addressed questions about Chung Gang Senior High School, further enriching their understanding of the Taiwanese education system. This cross-border exchange not only broadened the students' horizons but also enriched their cultural knowledge.

This event brought Putney High School and Chung Gang Senior High School closer, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation and exchanges. Both schools are committed to continuing efforts to provide students with valuable cross-cultural experiences and learning opportunities.Furthermore, Mandy shared her experiences organizing events and initiatives during her tenure as the student council president at Chung Gang Senior High School. She also introduced the students to the artistic and cultural attractions of Taichung City and Wuchi Township, expressing hope for future opportunities to invite them to Taiwan to experience more of its cultural charm.
