NEW Pre-Sales Clover Tutorial Videos

Now Available 

The Clover Pre-Sales Support team has uploaded new Clover feature and functionality videos to their wonderful live documents linked here. 

This is an amazing sales tool for Sales Agents, as well as a guide to see top features and functionality on Clover. Sales agents can also register for the next monthly vertical demo via this document as well! Take a look at some of the newer videos and Clover Help links now available below:

NEW Websites for Essentials and Restaurant Merchants

Coming Soon

For Essentials Merchants: The Clover Essentials software plan will soon come with a new website for all Essentials Merchants. This new website feature of the Essentials software plan is similar to the Retail Growth software plan website function and will feature a Homepage, About Us section, as well as a product listing by category. However, this will NOT have a shopping cart or checkout experience (the merchant must upgrade to Retail or Services Growth for eCommerce). This amazing new release establishes an online presence for the Essentials Merchant. This will begin rolling out in waves starting early February. We do NOT have an ETA for specific merchants, as they are group by Clover, so stay tuned for the final roll out for all Clover merchants. 

For Restaurant Merchants: The Clover CSR and FSR software plans will soon come with a new website for Clover Restaurant merchants. This new website feature of the restaurant vertical software plans is similar to the Retail Growth or Services Growth software plans Website functionality and will feature a Homepage, About Us section, as well as a product listing by category. It will also allow merchants to tie into their Clover Online Ordering site. This is a new COLO version (to be in line to the Retail/Services solution), so any net new Restaurant Merchants will get this new COLO version automatically. Any existing restaurant merchant will NOT get the website/COLO until Clover migrates them after the April 2025 Clover product release. While new COLO is mostly similar to the Existing COLO experience, there are some limitations at this time (eg. Scan to Order) that will be built in the April Release, hence the delay in having this available for existing merchants, as we don’t want any existing merchants to lose important features and functionality they currently use. For net new restaurant merchants, this new COLO experience started on January 29th. Stay tuned for these exciting updates and more information on the rollout! 

NEW Services Growth “Hybrid” Merchant Functionality

Now Available

Clover now allows a Services Growth Merchants to shop online and book appointments online. This amazing new feature is now available to Services Growth Merchants as of January 29, 2025. 

Please Note: If a Services Merchant had converted from Register/Essentials and had not converted their items as Services, these show up as Items that can be ordered online, instead of a service that needs an appointment. The Merchants will need to remember to un-publish these items from their website until they can set them up correctly as a true service on their Clover Dashboard. 

Clover Go Enhancements

New Clover Go enhancements for Services Growth merchants are coming soon! These new enhancements will allow the creation of a service and managing appointments, employee availability and settings all from within the Clover Go App. These new features will be available to Merchants when the new version of the Go app gets approved to get on the app store, so stay tuned for the exact availability date. 

NEW Order With Google Menu

Now Available

Clover’s new 'Order with Google Menu' redirection for Clover merchants is now available! Google stopped supporting 'Order with Google' in June’24. Merchants who had signed up for this are now being redirected to Clover online ordering instead. Clover is updating menus setup to be used with 'Order with Google' to point to Clover Online Ordering so that references to Order with Google are cleaned up on our menus. This became available on January 29, 2025.
