23 February 2024 (Fri) Cyber Security Incident Statement

On 11th February 2024 we became aware that our systems had been accessed by cyber criminals and that some of our system servers had been encrypted. This is a ransomware attack that has affected Miki Travel Limited in London only.

We have a team working to ensure our systems are secured against any further attack and to get any affected systems running again and to recover the data. We are adhering to all regulatory requirements and have already implemented additional security measures to protect against further data corruption or loss.

Investigations are ongoing, but to the best of our knowledge, the corrupted data is limited and does not include any customer or supplier personal data. We will continue working to establish exactly what happened and the extent of any information accessed and will provide updates as and when these become available.

The police have now advised us that, as part of a much larger operation, the National Crime Agency (NCA) have taken over the networks of the cyber criminals, and all our missing data is in the possession of the NCA. We are hopeful that this will mean we can restore our systems and data more rapidly.
