This doc has instructions on your first steps!
Text or email your co-tutor if you have one. Introduce yourself and make sure you are on the same page about what you are doing.
Once you are paired with a student, send a text (preferred) or email to the number provided for them to introduce yourself. If you have a co-tutor mention their name as well. Then confirm that the student can come to the first scheduled meeting.
If you are teaching a child, then go to the Getting Started Page and complete the tasks listed to prepare your presentation.
You will find all lessons under the lessons tab. Try to follow the lessons in the order of each week, HOWEVER, if you believe your student can skip material or needs to review other material, feel free to do so.

If you are tutoring an adult
Complete the PowerPoint for that week and ask your student if there is anything else that they would like to work on.
Every tutor must take a screenshot of them and their student for each lesson to upload to the Google Form after you have completed the lesson.
Remember that the Google Form is completed every week, whether or not you have a session.
Take a look at the slides for each subject for each week before your meeting.
Send a reminder 10 minutes to your student's phone to make sure they are at your meeting
Wait 10 minutes. If they do not arrive, please reschedule your meeting with your student and cotutor and make note of this when you submit your feedback form for that lesson.
GRMR's Tutoring Committees! Every level has a group of 2-3 volunteers creating weekly lesson materials to be used by the tutors.
