The Grinnell-Newburg Community School District seeks to increase the current Voted-PPEL by $0.67/$1,000 to the maximum of $1.34/ $1,000. If approved, this levy will help support the construction of a new elementary school serving all KDG-5th grade students.
The current Voted-PPEL has a 1% Income Surtax used to provide more equitable distribution of the impact of the overall property tax increase. This one will also have a 1% Income Surtax.
