What if I (my student) is completely online?

First of all, welcome! I am extremely excited to have you!!If you are completely online, you will be Zooming into class on your respective day at the time you would have had class using this link below for the first day. After that, Zooming in is optional. To ensure the technology is set up, please give me a prior notice of at least 12 hours in advance if you are wanting to Zoom in for class.

The slides and any announcements I will be on Google Classroom under "All Virtual/ Practice Materials" and links to the video lessons & assignments you will need to turn in will be under "Lesson & HW Materials". You will most likely want to have the slides for that day up while you are Zooming. If you are able to, you should be ready to have your camera and audio on and be willing to talk to your peers who are physically in class or are virtual like you. (Please make sure your background is appropriate and you talk loud enough that we can hear you!)When you are Zooming you will be doing the same things the students who are physically in class will be doing (as much as possible). If the class is doing group work, you will be collaborating with your virtual peers; if the class is taking an assessment, you will be taking an assessment; if students are sharing, you will also be asked to share; etc.

If you have questions during class, you are welcome to turn your audio on and ask your question or email it to me so I can take a look at it after class.
