Kid Friendly
We truly believe that starting nutrition early with your kids will help them learn how to have a healthy relationship with food rather than fall into these unhealthy food addictions that have caused so many health problems here in the US. Try out a few of these awesome kids lunch recipes and even try to get them involved in making the decisions themselves.
Nutrition Psychology
Most people fail when it comes to nutrition due to the fact that they don't fully understand WHY they eat a certain way. Use these worksheets to help yourself make a plan and understand why you do certain things.
Eating Behaviors Journal: use this journal to simply log your foods and notice what you are doing, feeling, or thinking during that time. Often, we are consuming food (calories) for many reasons other than being hungry. This is what will cause the unwanted and mysterious weight gain. By using this journal, you will be able to notice recurring trends and hopefully become more conscious of WHY you are eating.
Behavior Awareness Wks: after you have discovered your trends, you can utilize this worksheet to really pinpoint what is causing you to over-eat/sugar binge/mindlessly snack/etc. When one of those scenarios has happened, you will fill out the worksheet with how you felt before, during, and after the "episode". Knowing this information will help you catch the "episode" earlier and allow you to replace the unhealthy eating with something more productive.
Nutrition Plate: here is a visual resource to help you understand what your plate should contain and in what proportions for a nice balanced diet.
