Kia ora koutou,
We are starting this term with a little bit of testing to make sure we know where you are all at with your English and what support you will need.
The rest of the year will be semi-structured but with plenty of room for movement and to do the things that you want to do. Talk to me and let me know if you are struggling with certain things or want to improve something in particular.
Term 1: we are focussing on language features, vocabulary and speaking skills. This will be a variety of differnt activities to practice these things.
Term 2: we are going to focus on reading skills - senior students will have an NCEA assessment around week 5.
Term 3: we are going to focus on writing skills - senior students will have an NCEA assessment around week 5.
Term 4: we will be making a decision closer to the time based on what you all want and need to focus on.
