This week we are learning about: The Whare whakairo - the meaning behind the carvings on our whare and the Atua important to our whare carvings.
Your mahi (work): Slides 6-10 Read through the information.
Ngā Atua:
Papatūānuku, Tangaroa, Ranginui and Aoraki
Choose one of these four Atua and find out some information to share back to the class. No copy and paste, it needs to be in your own words. Do not only look at the first webpage that comes up in your search. Go broader and collect all the information you can. Include at least one image and be ready to present back to your class.
