This term students will focus on preparing for the two level 1 external exams. These will take place during Term 4 this year.

Each of these is worth 5 credits at Level 1.
Even though students may have passed their Level 1 NCEA, they will still need to achieve a set number of credits in Level 1 Maths to be able to progress toward studying Maths at Level 2.
Students who are wanting to pursue a pathway to senior calculus and physics need to prioritise the 1.4 exam
Student who want to pursue a pathway to statistics based pathways should prioritise the 1.3 exam.
We are currently focusing on finding the sides and angles of right angle triangles with trigonometry. The class book will be provided but an electronic on is available here for students to access at home.
