Copyright isn't just a word used by librarians. If you violate copyright, you can be charged with expensive fines. Your video could be blocked and your access to popular social media video sites like Youtube or Vimeo could be blocked or limited.
Royalty free means that you do not have to pay royalties or license fees. There are six different creative commons licenses. All six of them require that you give credit to the original creator. Follow creators instructions for how and when to give credit.
