Meet Mrs. Hart

Welcome Blazers! I am so glad you're here! My name is Anna Hart and this is my 9th year teaching. During my time as a teacher, I have taught fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Greenville University in 2017. I am certified in Elementary Education and Middle Grades ELA with my Gifted and Talented Endorsement and Read2Succeed Certification.  

I grew up in Greer and on Lake Keowee. I am married with two cats and a corgi. While I don't have kids, I have two nephews that I love dearly! I love reading, especially Historical Fiction.  I'm excited to have you in class and hopefully help stories come to life with you!

A few of my favorite things:

• I love to bake and watch baking competitions!

• I am a huge Florida Gator fan and enjoy watching the Atlanta Braves.

• I play the piano.

• I love to water ski and to learn about plants.

• Rock is my favorite genre of music.

• Christmas is my favorite holiday, while spring is my favorite season!

Additionally, I was a part of the first Scholastic Teacher Fellow Cohort. I received a trip to Scholastic's headquarters in NYC where I presented a capstone project with my assigned partner. I still maintain professional relationships with various education companies to continue growing.
