By sparking creativity and inquisitive thinking through its courses, GMC provides graduates with an unparalleled high school education in a small setting. GMC’s vision promotes a project-based curriculum, offering students a strong academic foundation and the technical training necessary for college. Currently, 50% of our students are enrolled in college courses made available to them at the beginning of their sophomore year. Students have the opportunity to earn an Associate degree while still in high school through GMC’s partnership with Greenville Technical College.

About Me

This my second year back in the classroom after a 20+ year break. I have had several careers. I graduated form Mars Hill University with a BS in Biology and right after college I went to work in Research and Development for 16 years with Mitsubishi Polyester Films. Then I moved into teaching and Massage Therapy. I taught at Travelers Rest and Blue Ridge High Schools in the early 2000s for a couple of years. Then I transitioned to teaching at Greenville Technical College and running my own personal Massage Therapy business. I added working at The Cliffs as a personal trainer and exercise instructor from 2006-2020. This year I will be teaching Biology 1 on B days and running my Massage Therapy business as well. When I am not working I enjoy hiking, fishing, yoga, spending time with my family and supporting Shriners Hospital.
