This class asks students to explore the world through film. Using movies set in diverse regions, students examine the physical geography, history, traditions, economies, and issues that shape places around the globe. They analyze how accurately films portray real locations and compare cinematic depictions to actual geography and current events. Through project-based learning, students discover how geography shapes people, and how movies shape our understanding of the world.
