About Me

Welcome to my website!

Hello, my name is Jessica McCraw and I am proud to serve as the Assistant Principal and Special Education/504 Coordinator at Greer Middle College. Originally from Travelers Rest, SC, my journey in education has been deeply rooted in the pursuit of empowering students with diverse learning needs.

My educational journey began at Clemson University, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. I then furthered my studies at Furman University, obtaining a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education. To broaden my impact, I pursued a second Master's degree in Secondary Administration from Arkansas State University.

With a passion for inclusive education, I embarked on my teaching career at Riverside High School, dedicating 16 years to teaching in a Special Education self-contained classroom. This invaluable experience laid the foundation for my commitment to creating supportive learning environments for all students.

Transitioning to Greer Middle College has been an enriching experience. Collaborating with dedicated faculty and supporting students' academic and emotional growth has been incredibly rewarding. I find immense joy in fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I cherish time spent with my family in Travelers Rest. My husband, Scott, and our daughters, Laine and Lela, are the center of my world. We relish moments together, especially when enjoying the tranquility of the lake.

I am deeply committed to championing equitable education and empowering students to achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.
