Greenwich Central School District
School-Based Mental Health Professionals assist and strengthen schools and districts by providing comprehensive social-emotional support. These professionals work collaboratively to meet the many needs of students and staff with their unique skills, training, and expertise through a team-based approach. Collaboration, consultation, and direct services are provided within a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), which emphasizes evidence-based interventions and data-based problem-solving practices and decision making to equitably support the success of the “whole child.” While there are several shared responsibilities among these professionals, each serves a specific role in the development of our district’s learning environment.
