Welcome back to the new school year, 2021-22! After such a long break away we are all so excited to see the faces of our students and to be able to stand in front of them while we teach.

My name is Josh Bomze and I will be teaching your child 8th grade Social Studies this year. I am looking forward to taking your child on a journey of their country’s beginnings, from the writing of the Constitution to the end of the American Civil War. To start we will be taking an in-depth look at the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the basics of our democratic government, which is perfect with the upcoming excitement of a presidential election.

You can email me 24 hours a day….but please know that any emails sent after school hours may not get a reply until the next school day. However, please reach out whenever you want because I may be able to respond quickly.

In the next couple of days I will have a new website for my class setup for you to use as a hub of information and links to any other applications that you or your children will need. Your children will also be signed into Google Classroom, which will serve as a platform for student assignments and feedback.
