• Digital Citizenship - You will learn how to navigate digital environments and situations safely, responsibly and respectfully

• Research - You will learn to access, evaluate, create, communicate, and collaborate with digital tools

• Tech & Tools - You will learn how to use school-related digital tools effectively for different purposes

You will sign up for Google Classroom using the code provided in class. The Classwork and Stream will be updated by the beginning of every class. It is the responsibility of students to look here to see what they missed if they are absent from class. All grades will be posted in Aspen.

You will come to class prepared each day. Supplies will not be handed out in class.

• Fully charged Chromebook

• Headphones/earbuds

• 3 ring pencil pouch with pens, pencils, highlighters, post-its

• Planner (school provided)

• Wait until the previous class has exited before entering the teaching area

• Quietly walk into the classroom on time and take your assigned seat; if you are late, enter respectfully and place late pass on teacher’s desk

• Check the front screen for directions

• SLANT: Sit up; Lean forward; Ask/answer questions; Nod your head; Track the speaker

• Please try to use the restroom before or after class - we'll need every minute of our time!

• You are expected to follow the district’s Responsible Use Policy at all times

• You are responsible for bringing in a fully charged Chromebook every day

• Only use Chromebook when instructed

• When you hear “go half-screen,” close your Chromebook screen halfway and pay full attention to the speaker
