Return to Dalian

Created in 2017 after a return to his coastal hometown after years away, Return to Dalian reflects on time, change, and the landscapes of youth. Featuring moored ships resting on the frozen winter shore, these works explore the quiet space between who we were and where we return. Each canvas serves as a silent record of place, where personal history meets the enduring stillness of the sea.
