Meet Ms. Elizabeth Conrad
Hello! I'm so happy to meet you!
Ever since I was a little girl, I've had something to do with music. I started playing the violin around 3 1/2 and the piano at 4. From elementary to high school I was a passionate "Fine Arts Kid" who was involved in art, school plays, chorus, and band. Because my school didn't have an orchestra, I was able to participate in the other Fine Arts programs and grow a deeper appreciation for other art content areas outside of my norm. When I entered college, music education was the major that stood out to me when I thought about having a career. I graduated with a degree in Music Education from Bob Jones University and am currently getting a Masters in orchestral conducting from the University of Texas El Paso.
A diverse musical background allows me to serve public education with 28 years of violin/orchestral experience, 13 years of dedicated piano training, and a heart that loves every aspect of Fine Arts. Whether you are a student or parent - when you walk into my classroom, I hope you can sense how much I love my students, how much I love sharing my passion for the Fine Arts, and how much I desire to shape lives for the better. I'm so thankful to be part of such an amazing, supportive Fine Arts department here at Woodmont High School and I am looking forward to this coming year!
