About the Teacher

This is my eighteenth year teaching and my nineth in the district.  My family moved to Travelers Rest from St. Petersburg, FL.  I have three boys, ages 14, 11 and 9, and married my adventure partner Jonathan the spring of '22.  He brings 4 girls into the mix with him! I am a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, but in an emergency will be a Florida Gators fan.  I love a good peanut butter chocolate combo, coffee, and the Tampa Bay Lightning. I currently have three pets, a corn snake named Thunder, a Blue Heeler, Jolene and an Australian Shepherd named Willie.  In my spare time, I enjoy, hiking, reading and swimming.  My favorite author is Vince Flynn.  One thing that most people don't know about me is that I love bluegrass and folk music! I look forward to knowing more about each of you!!
