Hi everyone, I am Ms. Wilson! I am in my fourth year here at Grove Elementary School. I have taught second grade for two years and this school year will be my second year in third grade! I am so thrilled to be back at Grove. I can not wait to dive into all of the fun this year has to offer for my students and I.

For as long as I remember, I have always had the passion to teach. I can recall being in elementary school and asking my teacher if I could stay in from recess and help stuff folders, clean the whiteboard, and hang things on the walls. During my summer vacations as a child I would beg my younger sister and cousins to play school with me-can you guess who got to be the teacher every time?

I graduated from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina with a degree in Elementary Education. During my time at Winthrop, I also received certification to teach Early Childhood. I have learned an enormous amount of tools and tricks from Winthrop but I learn so much more each year from the students in my class!

I anticipate that this year will be one for the books! 2018-2019 here we come!
