About Mrs. Roper

Hello,

My name is Mrs. Roper and I am a highly qualified media specialist at Westcliffe Elementary School. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in Business Adminstration and my Masters degree from University of South Carolina in Library Science and Education. I have been teaching for 17 years in Greenville County. I am really excited about working with each person that enters the Media Center. Please feel free to come by and visit. You are welcome to come in and checkout books with your student after school from 3:00-3:30. It will be my pleasure to assist you. 

It is my belief that all students can gain a love for reading by discovering the joy, fun, and excitement contained within books. It is my goal to guide students in determining what they enjoy reading and then assist them in locating books to read. I also hope to teach students how to locate and use information efficiently and effectively in a world filled with information in many formats.
