Hello my name is Anne Dye. I have been working at Greenview CDC since we opened as a Child Development Center 16 years ago and have been with GCS for 17 years. I was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and during most of my childhood I traveled to many places as my father was in the USAF. I received my teaching degree from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL and master’s degrees from Columbia College & Furman University.
My first teaching position was in Anderson, SC where I met my now husband. Tom and I have been married 7 years and enjoy biking, volunteering and traveling together. When not in the classroom I enjoy time with family or in a group exercise or adult ballet class!
We also have a sweet Golden Doodle....her name is Rosie Roux!
I am a BIG LSU fan….GEAUX TIGERS!
I have a great passion for teaching young children, watching them grow, discover and learn. I thank you for entrusting your children to Greenview CDC this year and know we will share and encounter countless milestones during this important foundational school year together. Every lesson will be purposefully planned! Lessons will invite emergent literacy experiences, early math skills, social skills, authentic art/project based learning, as well as, play based experiences that invite both student and family participation.
