Macomson

Hi! I’m Jennifer Macomson, better known as Ms. Mac, and I’m excited to be back in the classroom for my 19th year in education. I began my teaching journey in Anderson School District Five, where I spent ten wonderful years teaching Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

In 2017, after earning my Master’s in Educational Administration and Supervision, I stepped into school leadership as an Assistant Principal. I served in that role for eight years, gaining valuable experience and insight.

This year marks a new — and very meaningful — chapter for me: returning to the classroom, where my heart has always been. I’m thrilled to be teaching again and to be part of the Welcome Elementary family!

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two amazing boys. My oldest, Ethan, is 24 and recently married my wonderful daughter-in-law, Sydney. My youngest, Colt, is 16 and gearing up for graduation in May before heading off to college.
