Welcome!
Hello, my wonderful students and families! My name is Ms. Richey, and I am so excited to be your 3rd Multilingual grade teacher this year. We are going to have a fun, safe, and exciting year filled with new learning adventures.
About Me
Experience: I have been teaching for 9 years, and this is my 7th year at Welcome Elementary School. As a classroom teacher my experience is 2 years in 3rd grade and 5 years in 1st grade. This is my 2nd year as a Multilingual teacher supporting 3rd grade.
Education: I earned my Masters Degree in Literacy from Clemson University, my Bachlors Degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education from USC Upstate and an Associates degree of Art from Greenville Techinal College.
My Teaching Goal: I believe every child can learn and grow when they feel safe, valued, and happy in the classroom. My goal is to make learning fun and hands-on for everyone!

Hobbies: When I am not at school, I love to listen to audio books and be with my family.
