About Mrs. Graham
My name is Valrie Graham and this is my fifth year at Duncan Chapel. I teach 3rd to 5th grade self-contained class.
I have been teaching for more than 30 years. I have taught in general education setting, resource room setting and self-contained. Prior to teaching at Duncan Chapel I taught in Charlotte, NC. My teaching experience has been in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and USA. I was born in Jamaica and attended Mico University Teachers’ College and University of the West Indies in Jamaica.
My husband, Lennox and I are empty nesters and enjoy spending time together. We have three wonderful children, Richard, Brian and Xonnel. Our son, Brian is married to our amazing daughter-in-law, Abra. I have an amazing grand daughter, Macie Rae.
I am excited to be part of Duncan Chapel family and to fulfill my purpose of maximizing each student's potential.
About Mrs. Price
My name is Shawn Price and this is my second year at Duncan Chapel. My husband Scott and I live in Pickens with our cats, dogs, goats, and chickens……our animals have taken the place of our three grown children who are now out and on their own! I enjoy reading when I have the time, and I love the peace and quiet Pickens life has to offer (after living for 23 years in Greenville’s hustle and bustle!). I look forward to having a wonderful year working with Mrs. Graham and Mrs. Davis guiding and teaching our students to help them on their path to reach their full potential!
