Confidentality

I can not share information about topics discussed in session unless a child discloses:

1. The student discloses that someone is hurting them

2. Thoughts of harming self or others

3. Court subpoena

4. The parent signs a release of information

5. The client gave me permission to share with a trusted adult

I can share vague facts to teachers such as: tips that may be helpful in the classroom to decrease negative behaviors, "we discussed feelings of anger", "we learned how to be nice to friends"
