Educational Support is formerly known as "Educational Support", "Tutorial", or "Resource". During their Academic Seminar class, students will receive individual or small group assistance in understanding concepts presented in their general education courses, along with specialized instruction in areas where students have academic weaknesses, as noted in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Students will also explore study skills, learning styles, and post-secondary transition options throughout the course of the year. Academic Seminar is scheduled into the student's school day, as indicated in their IEP. This course is only available for students who have been identified under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act as a student with a disability.

It is important to attend school every day!
When a student is absent from any class, it is the student's responsibility to ask teachers for make-up work (they will not remind you!)
