About me

Welcome!!!

My name is Coach Wegmann(Burrell) and this will be my fifth year as a Physical Education teacher here at Wade Hampton. However, it is my 18th year teaching. Prior to coming to Wade Hampton I was the Physical Education teacher and Athletic Director at Sevier Middle and before moving to Greenville I taught at Fort Dorchester High School.

I am from Summerville, South Carolina where I taught at Fort Dorchester High School for 10 years prior to coming to Greenville County. I attended Mars Hill College in Asheville, North Carolina on a soccer scholarship and earned my undergraduate degree in Sports Management. I obtained my Masters in Administration from Concordia University Portland. I got married 5 years ago and we welcomed our first child in August 2025. 

I am the Assistant Athletic Director and head girls golf coach here at Wade Hampton.
