Eastside's Testing Information

PSAT! Coming October 7, 2026!

• The PSAT/NMSQT testing will occur at Eastside on Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Students will test at the school they attend or are zoned to attend. The PSAT/NMSQT will be administered digitally, and students must test using a district-owned Chromebook device.  

• The Sign-Up Window will be Tuesday, August 11 through Monday, August 24.

• Grade 10 - In accordance with SC Section 59-18-340 of the Education Accountability Act, Greenville County Schools will offer the PSAT/NMSQT test to all grade 10 students (second year in high school students). Students can participate for free, as the SC Department of Education covers the participation cost. Students must sign up on this Google Form. 

• Grade 11 - Students will have the opportunity to participate in the PSAT/NMSQT for the purpose of National Merit Scholarship Program qualification. Students must pay a fee of $14 (established by College Board) to participate. Students must sign up on this Google Form.

• Accommodations - If students would like to participate, please contact your student’s Case Manager, 504 Coordinator, and/or the STC to discuss accommodations. 

• In-district student sign up process:

Parents of students in the 10th or 11th grade must complete a brief Google Form during the district sign-up window, August 11 through August 24. The form will be emailed to students who are eligible to sign up and offered to them during Advisory. The PSAT/NMSQT is offered at NO COST to in-district students in the 10th grade. Students in the 11th grade who choose to take PSAT will need to pay the test fee of $14.00 through SchoolCash or bring exact cash payment to Mrs. Watson in MC105 by August 24th 3:30pm. No checks will be accepted. 

• Sign-Up Information for students who are homeschooled and live in the Eastside High attendance area: 

Review the linked information provided on Greenville County Schools’ website regarding PSAT/NMSQT sign up for homeschooled students. After reviewing the provided information, email Tiffany Watson, Test Coordinator, at twatson@greenville.k12.sc.us to schedule a time during the sign-up window to bring documents and payment to Eastside. August 24 (3:30 pm) is the last day to sign up.

ACCESS       February 17 - March 6th: Speaking & Makeups   ESOL *small groups of 5 or less for Speaking, various times

ACT: Digital Readiness February 19th (9:30-10:15am) 11th and 12th graders who are signed up for the 3/3 School-Day ACT (97 students)

SAT: Digital Readiness February 26th (9:30-10:15am) 11th and 12th graders who are signed up for the 3/10 School-Day SAT (253 students)

ACT March 3rd 11th and 12th Grade (97 students)

SC ALT and LifeSkills March 2nd - April 10    Identified SPED students

SAT March 10th 11th and 12th Grade (253 students)

Spring WIN April 1st 11th grade and a few 12th (340 students)

ASVAB April 14th  (1st & 2nd Blocks)   10th, 11th, and 12th Graders (discuss with your counselor if needed) 

Spring EOC May 5th 8:45am English 2 Writing EOC exam - Virtual students
