Dress Code:
Students will be required to dress out for every class meeting. Students should wear gym shorts (not denim, khakis, dress shorts, or cycling shorts) that are no shorter than the dress code allows. Students should wear a T-shirt that follows dress code, not a tank top or a shirt that has inappropriate print. Students must wear tennis shoes (no flip flops, dress shoes or boots). These requirements must be met or students will not participate that day and will result in a loss of points. Also, students that do not meet dress standards will be required to complete a hand written assignment. The student will read an article given by the teacher. The student will write a summary and a reflection of the article. The assignment must be hand written and consist of a minimum of 200 words. When a student completes this assignment he or she will receive a maximum of 60 points for the day. The PE department has a limited supply of clothes for anyone who forgets their clothes for class. These clothes must be returned after the class is over.
Excuses:
To be excused from participating, we will only accept excuses signed by a medical doctor. Also, we need the date that you will be able to return to participation. We will work with you when you do not feel well. However, you still need to dress out.
Tardy Policy:

The student must pick an article, read the article and type a minimum 100 word summary about the article. The article must be typed in google docs and shared with Coach Sutherland.
