About Me

My name is Traci Schneider Waters, and I’m so excited to be teaching second grade at Mauldin Elementary.  This will be my twenty-eighth  year of teaching.  Most of my teaching experience has been in second grade.

I grew up in Salisbury, NC and graduated from Catawba College.  I lived in South Charlotte for 25 years.  My husband and I now  live in Greenville.  We enjoy traveling to many different places, and we especially love Charleston and Wild Dunes.  

I became  a grandmother in June to  precious Mallory Kathryn.  It is one of the greatest joys of my life.

My son, Mitchell, is a graduate of Winthrop University and has an exciting career  managing  the Northeast territory for a national company.  He has a beautiful wife named Jena.  He  became  a father in June, and  I am so proud to be his mom.   I have a niece, Sarah, who now has a corporate job in Charlotte.  She is a graduate of UNCW.

We have two sweet fur babies, Patches and Stella.  We love our walks with Patches daily.  Stella, our cat, enjoys her window time and lots of attention while we watch a movie. 

I love teaching at  Mauldin Elementary , and I can’t wait to meet everyone!  We are going to have a great year.
