This is my 23rd year of teaching! I graduated from Winthrop University with a degree in Elementary Education and earned a Masters of Education from Anderson University. I taught first and second grades in Charlotte, NC, before returning to Greer (my home sweet home). I have experience teaching kindergarten through fifth grade.

I am excited to begin my 10th year teaching Challenge at Taylors Elementary! As a former Greenville County Challenge student, I have a passion for gifted learners and hope to encourage my students to learn through problem-solving and engaging, inquiry-based instructional units.

My hobbies include reading, walking, and watching my kids run cross-country and track. I love the beach, Disney, dark chocolate, coffee, and popcorn. I am also a huge UNC Tarheel basketball fan!
