Mrs. Mobley and I would like to welcome you to Fork Shoals and our classroom. We are very excited about this school year and the time we have to get to know your little stars of the show. This year will be “a circus” in the best ways! Our main goal is for your little star to love learning and love it for their entire lifetime.
We hope that you and your child are ready to come one, come all to the greatest class on earth this year!

My name is Melanie Foister and if you haven’t guessed, I love everything about kindergarten and the circus. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Clemson University in Early Childhood Education in 2016. Go Tigers! I started my teaching career at Fork Shoals School in 2016 and my first crew of kindergarteners know me as Miss T., while the rest of my students know me as Mrs. Foister. I say I just loved kindergarten so much I decided to come back, but a former student came to the conclusion I was "stuck in kindergarten!" Children show so much growth and development in this one year. I hope your child is as excited as I am about this year.
Fork Shoals holds a special place in my heart, and is a place like no other. Originally from Greenville, having attended Greenville County Schools (Oakview Elementary, Beck Academy, and J.L. Mann High School) I am honored to be back in Greenville for my teaching career. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Fork Shoals getting to know our students, you all as parents and guardians, as well as seeing little light bulbs spark each and every day. This year I am excited to continue learning how we all work together best and are creating a class community all our own, based on the respect and kindness we extend to one another.

Hey y’all! My name is Mrs. Mobley and I am super excited to be working in kindergarten for my third year! Previously, I worked the two years here at Fork Shoals as a one on one Special Education paraprofessional and I loved every minute of it. However, my heart was leading me in a different direction and I couldn’t be more blessed for the opportunity to now work with your sweet kindergartners! I have a special love for children and I’m excited to be a part of their journey and watch them learn and grow.
We have a large family! My husband's name is Tim and we have been married for almost 12 years. Together we have 5 beautiful daughters, ranging from 32 to 7! Stella is 10 and will be a fifth grader and Maggie is 8 and will be a third grader, both here at Fork Shoals this year. We also have two sweet granddaughters, Rosie who is 3, and Daisy who is 20 months! We love Clemson Football, the beach and anything outdoors! Spending time with family is our favorite! I can’t wait to meet you all and have the best year ever!
