Weekly Newsletters and Homework

Dear Kindergarten Families,

We hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and bundle up for the cold weather this week! Please take a moment to use the link below to review our newsletter to see what is happening at Fork Shoals and in kindergarten.

Additionally, please use this link to pay for our upcoming field trip to see Rainbow Fish. We are on a tight turnaround to submit payment for this field trip. Thank you so much for your prompt payment and understanding! The cost is $14 for students and $10 for chaperones.  As always, payment can be sent in the form of cash or check (made out to Fork Shoals School) in your child’s folder.  We will let chaperones know by mid-January if they are selected so chaperones will not pay until then.  If you are interested in chaperoning, please reach out to your child’s teacher.  You must have volunteer level 2 status to chaperone.  We will use a lottery system to choose our chaperones and you’ll be notified as soon as possible. 

On January 20th, we will celebrate the 100th Day of School! Students are encouraged to dress like they are 100 years old or wear a shirt decorated with 100 items. We hope they will dress up with us! Please look for more information coming home.

We will have weekly Wired Wednesday homework on student Chromebooks. Your child's teacher will let you know when we will begin sending these home. If you have trouble at home, please use this resource to help you troubleshoot.
