Title I

Hello! My name is Cassie Alexander, and I am the Title I Instructional Facilitator at Welcome Elementary. First and foremost, I am here to serve the teachers, students, and families of Welcome Elementary. I am excited to be a part of the Welcome Elementary team, and I look forward to meeting you and getting to know your families as we work together to support the amazing students of Welcome Elementary. 

This is my 12th year at Welcome Elementary School and my 3rd year as the Title I Instructional Facilitator before that I was a 5th grade teacher. I graduated from North Greenville University with my B.A. in Elementary Education and recently completed my Master's degree in education from Anderson University. I joined the Welcome Family after teaching 3rd grade for a year. I love working with children, I have had a passion for children since I was young. My philosophy is that all student learn in a comfortable and inviting environment where they all have the chance to succeed. 

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband Wesley of 11 years, our 7 year old McKenna and 3 year old Adalee, and our fur baby (Chipper) I enjoy watching sports, spending time with my family, and going to the beach.

My  name is Meghan Shroy, and I am the Title One School Social Worker at Welcome.  I have lived in Greenville for the majority of my life, and am a product of Greenville County Schools. I went to college at Trevecca Nazarene University, where I got my Bachelors degree in Social Work in 2007, and I graduated in 2010 with my Masters in Social Work from Winthrop University.  After I got my MSW, I worked in the mental health field as a counselor for children and adolescents for 6 years before being hired by the school district.  This is now my sixth year as a school social worker and I love the relationships I have built with both students and parents.  When I am not at work, I spend most of my time with my husband (Matt), son (Dylan), and our dog (Remmy). I love going hiking, traveling, reading books, and spending time with friends. I look forward to getting to know you over the upcoming school year.

Hello my name is Luisa I'm from Colombia, South America, I have been living here for almost 21 years. I live in Greenville with my husband and our three kids. I have been working with Greenville County schools since 2017. I love having the opportunity to interact with parents and families. I'm here to serve you.
