About Us

I am excited to begin my third year as the Library Media Specialist here at Thomas E. Kerns. Go Wildcats! 🐾Previously, I worked for six years in the computer lab within the Greenville County Schools District. 

📖I have always had a passion for working with children and absolutely love learning and teaching all things books, stories, computers & tech related.  

🎓Spartan strong, I attended University of North Carolina-Greensboro where I earned both my Bachelor's and most recently my Masters in Library and Information Science. 

🌳On a personal note, I have been married to my husband Ralph for twenty four years and we have three beautiful children: Madeline (23), Molly (21), and Cooper (16). 

☕I love coffee, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, otters, baseball, books and learning! I also truly enjoy being near the water--preferably the beach but a pool suits me just fine, too.
