QR Codes are machine readable codes that are linked to a resource.Teachers are using QR Codes in the classroom to link students to websites, videos, and books. While parents were waiting for their appointed conference time, I had a QR code posted outside my classroom to link parents to my school website. Parents could read about what was going on in my class and view pictures of their child engaged in various activities. There are numerous QR generators, but I like to use
Kaywa QR Code website. Two other sites that also creates QR codes are
QR Stuff and
QR Code Generator. None of these sites involve signing up for an account. It is free. I use the Snipping tool to capture the image. Depending on the the site, you may be able to download the code. There are several different scan apps that will scan/read QR codes, bar codes, or the combination of the two. I like using Scan and i-nigma.
