All About Me (Insert Teacher Picture to the Left)
This is my third year at GMA! I have taught for 32 years and am originally from central Illinois. I have taught multiple grade levels including 6th grade, and K-5th grade.
I have a BS in Education from the University of Iowa.
A little bit about me...Wife, mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend.
My focus is for all students to be successful!
My husband and I moved to Greenville in May of 2023 and we love it here:) My youngest son will be a junior at Clemson this fall!.
Here's what I believe:
Inside the classroom, the effective teacher is firm, fair and friendly.
High expectations build success..
Our classroom is a community of mutual respect.
Scaffolding is essential and challenge is imperative.
Intrinsic motivation encourages independent learning which opens student opportunities.
