Hello there!!  I am Scotty Dancy. This year I will begin my 33rd year in the classroom and my third year at GMA.  My career began in elementary school.  I have had the pleasure of teaching grades K-7 along this journey.  Science has always been my passion.

I am originally from Wilkesboro, NC.  I attended Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Here, I earned my BS in Elementary and my Masters in Education.   I made the move to Greenville 4 years ago to be near family.  I absolutely love the area.  The diversity of Greenville is exciting with never ending possibilities and adventures.  My current goal is to find a new place to visit each month.  Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to educate your children. At anytime during the year you have questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. Together we can make a plan that will best benefit your child.  Please be sure to review all polcies and procedures so there are no suprises during the school year.

Let's make it a great year at GMA!!
