Ms. Simmons

I was born and raised in a small town in Arizona, and as one of 13 kids, I’ve always been surrounded by children—so working with them just feels natural! I moved to South Carolina about 10 years ago to attend Bob Jones University, where I eventually earned my Master’s in Education. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to teach a wide range of grade levels and subjects. I spent four years teaching math at a charter school, working closely with students who had unique learning needs, and then two years as a math interventionist at GMA. This is my second year teaching 7th grade math. I couldn't be more excited to be part of the 7th grade team and look forward to a great school year ahead!
