About Mr. Bargeron

My name is TJ Bargeron, and I am a 7th grade math teacher at Bryson Middle School. I currently teach Math 7 and Math 7/8 (Pre-Algebra). This is my fifth year teaching at Bryson Middle School after spending my first year teaching at Dorman High School in Spartanburg, SC. I graduated from Clemson University in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in Mathematical Science as well as a minor in Engineering, and eventually earned my Teaching Certificate through the SC PACE Program.

I was born in Greenville, SC on November 19, 1988. I have lived in the Upstate of South Carolina for my entire life where I attended Bryson Middle School and Hillcrest High School. Because I have been in the very seats the students are sitting in and have played on the fields that the students will play on as they get into high school, it is very exciting to come back to where I went to school to help make a difference in the students. I married my wife, Anna, in the summer of 2011, and we have two wonderful children Braxton (3) and Bethany (9 months)

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my wife and son. Our favorite family tradition is hiking the local mountains and trails at least once a month. As a family we truly love to be adventuring in the great outdoors. I also spend time on the baseball field helping as an assistant coach with the HHS Baseball team. A final passion that my wife and I share is our love for an orphanage in Port de Paix, Haiti known as Hope Vision Ministry. We have spent many weeks visiting with them and look forward to the day that we can take our son as a family to spend time with Pastor Andy and the children of Hope Vision.
